Coventry City Council is responsible for over 342 schools and social care sites, which include old peoples’ homes and community centres, each of which has a commercial kitchen that requires kitchen extract cleaning on a regular basis. The city council wanted to make sure that the cleaning of all the kitchen extract systems in their jurisdiction was professionally managed and carried out to a consistently high standard regardless of the type of building, by one company.
As a result in October 2009, Ingot was awarded the contract for kitchen extract cleaning, maintenance and testing for all of Coventry City Council's commercial kitchens. We won the contract by competitive tender not just on price but based on our professionalism and high quality standards.
Coventry City Council has been very pleased with both the high quality of work and the administrative support provided by Ingot. On completion of each kitchen extract cleaning job, every site is left in an immaculate condition and all the pre and post pictures and certificates are sent both to the authority’s central body and to each individual site.
